Operations Manager - vendor management (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Sable Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
