Operations Manager - vendor management (Madison, WI)

Redstone Glen Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Madison. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for hardship programmes and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
