Operations Manager - vendor management (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Cobalt Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
