Operations Manager - vendor management (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Nova Bright Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
