Operations Manager - vendor management (Louisville, KY)

Bright Loom Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Louisville plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
