Operations Manager - vendor management (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Nova Oak Foods Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
