Operations Manager - vendor management (Louisville, KY)

Nova Stone Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Louisville. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 206 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
