Operations Manager - vendor management (Louisville, KY)

Ironwood Wren Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Louisville, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service connections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
