Operations Manager - vendor management (Louisville, KY)

Nova Drift Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
