Operations Manager - vendor management (Little Rock, AR)

Northwind Bridge Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Little Rock design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
