Operations Manager - vendor management (Little Rock, AR)

Bright Oak Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Little Rock, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
