Operations Manager - vendor management (Las Vegas, NV)

Silverline Vista Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
