Operations Manager - vendor management (Las Vegas, NV)

Northwind Orchard Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Las Vegas. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
