Operations Manager - vendor management (Knoxville, TN)

Bluepeak Lakeside Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Knoxville. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
