Operations Manager - vendor management (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Cedar Beacon Manufacturing and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
