Operations Manager - vendor management (Knoxville, TN)

Bright Orchard Farms is an agricultural business based around Knoxville. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 176 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with seasonal crews. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
