Operations Manager - vendor management (Kansas City, MO)

Cedar Mill Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Kansas City region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
