Operations Manager - vendor management (Jacksonville, FL)

Bright Bridge Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the Jacksonville region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
