Operations Manager - vendor management (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Beacon Manufacturing and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 119 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
