Operations Manager - vendor management (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Hollow Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
