Operations Manager - vendor management (Indianapolis, IN)

Harborlight Lakeside Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
