Operations Manager - vendor management (Indianapolis, IN)

Foxglove Timber Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Indianapolis, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 135 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
