Operations Manager - vendor management (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Corner Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
