Operations Manager - vendor management (Honolulu, HI)

Westbrook Wren Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes.
