Operations Manager - vendor management (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Silverline Quill Facilities Partners and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for supply orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
