Operations Manager - vendor management (Hartford, CT)

Harborlight Drift Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
