Operations Manager - vendor management (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Nova Quarry Farms Partners and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
