Operations Manager - vendor management (Fresno, CA)

Foxglove Ashton Foods produces packaged foods at its Fresno plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
