Operations Manager - vendor management (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Lakeside Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
