Operations Manager - vendor management (Fresno, CA)

Westbrook Forge Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Fresno. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
