Operations Manager - vendor management (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Redstone Fern Transit Planning Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
