Operations Manager - vendor management (El Paso, TX)

Highbridge Harbor Foods produces packaged foods at its El Paso plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
