Operations Manager - vendor management (El Paso, TX)

Amberfield Corner Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with warranty claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
