Operations Manager - vendor management (Detroit, MI)

Clearpath Cross Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
