Operations Manager - vendor management (Detroit, MI)

Bluepeak Summit Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for permits and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
