Operations Manager - vendor management (Detroit, MI)

Clearpath Cross Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Detroit. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
