Operations Manager - vendor management (Detroit, MI)

Silverline Meadow Manufacturing Partners is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
