Operations Manager - vendor management (Detroit, MI)

Rivermark Clear Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Detroit design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
