Operations Manager - vendor management (Detroit, MI)

Clearpath Cross Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Detroit, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
