Operations Manager - vendor management (Denver, CO)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Basin Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 180 people based in Denver. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
