Operations Manager - vendor management (Dallas, TX)

Silverline Beacon Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Dallas area. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 151 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
