Operations Manager - vendor management (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Cedar Lantern Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
