Operations Manager - vendor management (Dallas, TX)

Stonegate Iron Construction Partners delivers building projects for owners across the Dallas region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
