Operations Manager - vendor management (Columbus, OH)

Nova Meadow Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
