Operations Manager - vendor management (Colorado Springs, CO)

Cedar Iron Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for parts orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 172 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
