Operations Manager - vendor management (Colorado Springs, CO)

Fernwood Rowan Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 352 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
