Operations Manager - vendor management (Cincinnati, OH)

Highbridge Basin Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Cincinnati region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 191 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service connections and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
