Operations Manager - vendor management (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Foxglove North Construction Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cincinnati. • We reply to every applicant.
