Operations Manager - vendor management (Cincinnati, OH)

Summit Granite Water Authority Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 273 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
