Operations Manager - vendor management (Cincinnati, OH)

Northwind West Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Cincinnati, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 623 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for hardship programmes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
